I just went in and had an X-ray and was given some anti-inflammatory and painkillers. The doctor said I’ll schedule another appointment for wisdom tooth removal…
The implant was added without asking for a receipt, and there’s an additional $10 fee!
The total bill this time was $590.
[Next time, each wisdom tooth will only cost $6,800!]
For over a decade, my family, from the elderly to the children, has patronized Dr. Lam. He’s incredibly attentive, has excellent technique, and offers fair prices. After my father had a tooth extracted, he considered getting new dentures. Dr. Lam advised him not to spend money on new dentures if they were comfortable, saying new ones wouldn’t necessarily be better than the old ones, and with age, he might lose another tooth soon. He then immediately fixed the wires on my father’s dentures free of charge, allowing him to continue using them. He’s also incredibly patient with children. My daughter was initially reluctant to open her mouth, but Dr. Lam patiently guided her and gained her trust. Appointments are required, so be prepared. Even with an appointment, there’s a wait, but it’s definitely worth it. As you can imagine, the time he takes means future patients have to wait longer. My German family member always sees Dr. Lam for a checkup and cleaning whenever they return to Hong Kong, as there aren’t many dentists in Germany with such excellent technique.
I visited Dr. Lam since he graduated over 20 years ago. He is a very patient and professional doctor. He is always doing his best to help the patients. That’s why he is so busy and patients have to line up to see him. Even I know him for so long, I still have to line up for 30 minutes or even an hour to see him though I have a booking. Just have some patience. If one can afford to line up an hour for a meal, I suppose a good doctor well deserve the wait.

我們一家人十幾年來由老人家到小孩都幫襯林醫生，超級細心，手勢又好，價錢公道。老父拔牙之後，以為要重新再做假牙，林醫生勸說：舊假牙戴得舒服就別花錢再做，新的假牙未必比舊的好，而且年紀大可能很快又會掉下一隻牙，然後立刻為父親免費修整一下假牙上的鐵線，讓他繼續使用。對小孩也超有耐心，最初女兒不願意張開口，林醫生也細心引導，取得孩子信任。必須要預約，要有心理準備，就算預約了也要等一下，不過絕對值得等。你可以想像，就是因為醫生花時間在你身上，所以往後的病人就要多等一會。家裏的德國人，每一次回到香港都一定找林醫生檢查和洗牙，因為德國沒有這樣好手勢的牙醫。

That’s why he is so busy and patients have to line up to see him. Even I know him for so long, I still have to line up for 30 minutes or even an hour to see him though I have a booking. Just have some patience. If one can afford to line up an hour for a meal, I suppose a good doctor well deserve the wait.

5 月 8, 2023 和 6:40 上午林醫生手勢好，診症＋剝牙15分鐘搞掂，過程&術後都唔痛，價錢合理（剝一隻智慧齒$2000）。可能因為我係當日第一個病人，登記完5-10分鐘就有得睇。

10 月 12, 2020 和 4:17 上午我真不知這間醫務所的牙醫助護(前台櫃檯)是可以多煩，總是黑著一張臉，口氣又不奈煩。若這麼忙 開放多些管道進行預約(網上預約/WHATSAPP留言…) 打電話去一直沒人聽要語音回覆，留了言又等了快兩個鐘也不打，天知道是到底預約的如何。 聽不到患著說話是不能裝個對講擴音機嗎？ 或是是前傾一些嗎，非坐在那裡大聲不奈煩地說聽不到聽不到 香港服務差眾所皆知 但差成這樣還真的是少見 醫術是不知如何 但是再好也完全不想去這間看牙醫了

3 月 24, 2019 和 3:32 下午由林醫生開鋪一直洗到今天，都好多年，林醫生洗牙很好，洗完絕對不會痛
但鋪頭負責安排的人很差，預約了可以前面有六個，改期可以答時間是不肯定的，那為什麼要預約？全部指定來排隊就得啦，相信這樣每個人都心服口服，最慶係個護士連唔好意思都無一句，連基本尊重客人都沒有
如果預約遲半小時是可接受，但如果預約還要一小時以上是失敗，太差的安排影響這診所
