One day I complained of a toothache, and they told me to lie down. As soon as I lay down, they started talking about how dirty my teeth were and asked if I wanted a teeth cleaning. I thought I’d get one straight. But they said it would only take a minute? I didn’t even know. Then they said they were done (and charged me $450). I’d had a second place clean before, and it took me half an hour. Then they told me I had a cavity and asked if I wanted a filling. I knew I had a cavity, so I thought I’d get one. They filled it quickly, and my teeth got sensitive afterward. The worst part was buying a 7-cent iced drink, and my teeth were so sore. In the end, I spent over $2,000 on gum cleaning, teeth cleaning, fillings, and X-rays. I felt that he made it clear before everything that would be charged, and during the whole process he asked me to have my wisdom teeth removed several times. Although my wisdom teeth were not born in the wrong place, they did have some decay.

Dr. Yao is skilled and friendly; his long tenure in Hung Hom must have earned him a good reputation. This time, I had my root canal replaced with a crown, and the fees were reasonable. The orthodontic process went smoothly, and I felt great. Thank you, Dr. Yao, and your assistant.

Mean, consistently passive aggressive, and ruthless dentist who dont actually believe a patient who is shaking in pain and ignored the patient’s asking for help mid operation, who tells the patient that its not that painful, while the patient felt every bit of the sawing, clawing, and twisting in the procedure of the wisdom teeth removal…. Most fishy part about this place is that everytime we visited, theres an extra session booked for a follow up which is normal but every new visit, they point out a new problem to a different tooth that wasnt mentioned the previous time.
This time he went to get a stitch removed from previous wisdom tooth pull, then after removing the stitches, they told him they need to pull out another wisdom tooth on the other side and without asking, started operating on him. The dentist having impatiently asked whether the anesthesia has kicked in within less than 15 seconds of the injections, passive aggressively told my partner “ok you feel numb now right “ and started operating!! (Even when my partner as the patient had said he still didnt feel numb enough) Hence, he ended up feeling the pain and shock from the entire wisdom tooth procedure, and everytime he shook his hands or made X signs with his arms in attempt to communicate his pain, the assistants without getting clarification just kept continuing after very brief pauses, while the dentist again passive aggressively would say “you just feel a little pressure right”, or “told you from the beginning that this was going to be a very difficult tooth”, while my partner shook involuntarily in pain the whole time.. and nothing was done to help reinforce pain prevention…Ended up being charged extra than usual wisdom teeth removals still because it was a difficult tooth….

照完X-Ray, 補又唔比,脫又唔比。 一定要杜牙根。 去到第二間牙醫,10分鐘立即搞點， 呢間真係不了。

嗰日我話牙肉痛，佢叫我瞓低，一瞓低就話我啲牙污糟，問我洗唔洗埋牙，我諗住整開就洗埋。點知佢洗牙1分鐘？都唔知有冇，然後就話洗完（咁就收$450）。我之前喺第二間洗，洗咗我成半個鐘。然後又話我有蛀牙，問我補唔補？咁我一直都知自己有蛀牙咪諗住補囉。佢又係勁快就補完，之後變咗敏感牙齒。最慘係7仔買支凍嘢飲，啲牙都好酸軟。最後用咗2千幾搞咗牙肉，洗牙，補牙，照X光片。覺得佢好嘅係整每樣嘢之前講清楚嗰樣嘢斷錢，同埋成個過程提咗我幾次叫我剝智齒，雖然我智齒唔係打橫生，不過有少少蛀。

幫襯姚醫生十五年以上，多次洗牙，補牙。我不是每年看牙醫，應該是隔年或兩年才去檢查牙齒。姚醫生手勢純熟，態度友善，在紅磡多年必定有其客缘。今次我杜牙根換牙冠，收費都算合理，整牙處理過程順暢，我感覺良好。多謝姚醫生及其助護。
